Lower Moreland looking to rebid Iverness bridge
Reconstruction of Inverness Lane Bridge will be delayed since Lower Moreland Township approved rebidding the project March 20. Under the advisory of Assistant Township Manager Chris Hoffman, the board of commissioners rejected the bids for the reconstruction and approved rebidding due to a funding issue.

Police are on the lookout for a man who fired two shots during an attempted bank robbery in Abington Township early Saturday morning.

Abington Harassment … Cornelius C. Orlina, 51, and Antonio Orlina, 23, of Decatur Avenue, Willow Grove, were charged with harassment and stalking after a series of phone calls were made to victims cellphones from August 2012 to January 2013, police said. Cornelius was in possession of the phone numbers and Antonio made the phone calls, police said.
